Hu Kaiqiang, Director-General of the SCO National Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform, introduced that combining the advantages of Liangjiang New Area in terms of policy, location, industry, and innovation, the two sides can plan to build a comprehensive hub industrial park for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization National Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform, and explore the joint construction of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization National Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform Comprehensive Hub Demonstration Zone, promote the registration of high-quality market entities in the industrial park, and build chain, build an industrial international collaborative innovation ecology with Liangjiang New Area as the hub, connecting Shanghai, radiating the periphery and linking the world.
Liangjiang New Area is the main position for Chongqing to build an inland open comprehensive hub. In recent years, it has been actively building an open platform, and guided by the construction of a new land and sea channel in the west, it has deepened the cooperation between China, Singapore and Chongqing, and expanded the depth and breadth of opening up.

The SCO multi-functional economic and trade platform is an international exchange and cooperation platform jointly created by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization industrialists Committee, the Chongqing Liangjiang New area Management Committee and the Chongqing Brand Building Promotion Association. Since its establishment in 2022, 25 industry working committees have been set up, covering more than a dozen industrial fields, such as intelligent manufacturing, new energy, new materials and information technology. Gather more than 1300 high-quality market players upstream and downstream of the industrial chain at home and abroad to promote Chongqing foreign investment of nearly 30 billion yuan, help Chongqing attract more investment than 17.6 billion yuan.
